Where can I find the macros for your products?

The nutritional macros are broken down into their ‘per serve’ details which you can find on each products shop page. The macros will also be included on your delivered Keto Eats box.

What kind of sweetners do you use?

We use erythritol, stevia and liquid sweeteners (which are some of the more healthier alternatives of the sugar supplements).

The only Keto Eats that have any sugar alcohols in them, is our Rocky Road which includes marshmallow (that contains maltitol). We don’t include sugar alcohols in the net carb count, so we list any sugar alcohol separately in the macro breakdowns.

How long will my Keto Eats last?

We recommend you store your Keto Eats in an air tight container, in a cool dark place such as a fridge.

Keto Eats also freeze and defrost well. To freeze, simply store in a single layer in an air tight container (avoid stacking one on top of another). To defrost we recommend leaving them out at room temperature (do not microwave).

Your items will last up to 5 days stored in a fridge or, up to 1 month in the freezer.

Do your products have allergens?

Yes. Although we do our best to keep ingredients seperate, all of our recipes are prepared in the same kitchen and many contain nuts and dairy.

We have broken down our product list into dietry concerns such as ‘Gluten Free’, ‘Dairy Free’, ‘Raw’ and ‘Vegan’ and you can search these catagories by clicking the ‘Filter’ button and browsing by Nutritional Tags.

However if you have allergy concerns we do recommend you contact us so we can discuss your needs.

Do you use a commercial kitchen?

Yes. It’s manditory for all food stuffs being sold to the public, to be made in a certified commercial kitchen.

We currently hire a local A-Grade commercial kitchen, here in Botany as we need it. The dream of course is to have our own full time Keto Eats kitchen as our little business grows!

Could you cater my event?

With enough notice, yes!

How much is shipping?

We use NZ Posts overnight courier service.

  • $9.50 urban North Island
  • $13.50 urban South Island
  • $13.50 to rural NZ wide
  • FREE for pickup from our Manukau Store (Corner 139 Cavendish Drive & Plunket Ave)


IMPORTANT
Rural deliveries can take 2-3 days.
We do use specialty chilled packaging that help keep orders chilled for 24-28 hours however we do not recommend or guarantee rural deliveries or deliveries to the very bottom of the South Island ( esp. over Summer) due to the potential extended delivery time.

Do you deliver anywhere in New Zealand?

Unfortunately, we can only deliver to urban North Island addresses.

We can not deliever to rural or South Island addresses.

We do use NZ Post’s overnight courier service and we do package our items in chiller bags with ice, however due to the high fat nature of our keto treats we found that it was very difficult to guarantee the safe arrival of orders  to those areas – especially over the warmer months.

Why do you only delivery once a week?

All orders are carefully handmade by Keto Eats owner and busy Mum, Hanna Mearns. As a solo start up, having a once a week delivery schedule allows Hanna to plan, produce and deliver the freshest keto treats possible.

We use NZ Posts overnight delivery services to ensure your order gets to you as fast and as fresh as possible.

  • All order made from Monday – Sunday
  • Are made fresh the following Monday & Tuesday
  • Then picked up by the Courier that Wednesday
  • And NZ Post delivery them that Thursday*

Are orders tracked?

Yes we do. However because we have such a quick overnight courier service, we don’t typically send out the tracking codes unless requested. If your order doesn’t arrive when expected please contact Hanna on 021 338 467 or by emailing orders@ketoeats.co.nz.

Can I pick up my order?

Yes. There is an option as you checkout to select ‘Pickup’.

  • You can pick your order up the following Thursday from our Manukau Store (Corner 139 Cavendish Drive & Plunket Ave).
  • Anytime between 9.30-3pm

What happens if there is an issue with my order?

If there are any issue with your order please email Hanna at orders@ketoeats.co.nz. Let her know what’s happened (attaching photos if relevant) and she will do her best to rectify any issues as soon as possible.
